Autumn Equinox Updates

Mid-September update from your local snow removal professionals.

Fall is officially in the air here in South Lake Tahoe, and that means one thing: snow season is just around the corner. As we gear up for another busy winter, we wanted to share a few important updates, deadlines, and tips to help you get ahead of the first storm.

Last call for new client discounts! Learn how else you can save on snow removal.

Our early-season new client discount is ending on September 15! Be sure to get your contracts signed and paid before the deadline to secure your low rate.

Looking for other ways to save? We also offer referral discounts when you refer a friend or neighbor, and incentives for leaving us your honest review. Discounts can absolutely be combined for maximum savings (aside from reviews). Contact us today to see what kinds of discounts you might be eligible for!

Route Planning is Underway

Behind the scenes, we’re already mapping out plow routes and optimizing service zones based on where our clients are located this season. If you’ve already signed up — thank you!

Prepping Your Property

We’ll begin snow stake installations for seasonal clients starting in late October.
Snow stakes help our crews navigate safely and avoid damaging curbs, landscaping, or buried hazards. You can also help by:

  • Removing any summer yard decorations or obstacles near your driveway
  • Trimming low-hanging branches that might interfere with snow removal equipment
  • Planning your winter parking areas to make service safe and efficient

El Nino Watch: A Wet, Wild Winter?

Meteorologists are continuing to forecast a strong El Niño pattern this season, which often brings heavy, wet snowfall to the Tahoe Basin. Our team is prepping accordingly — servicing our equipment, and expanding our emergency response capabilities.
With 40 years in the area, we’re ready for anything Mother Nature throws at us — and we’ll keep you posted as forecasts become more specific in the coming weeks.
