Seasonal Snow Removal – What to Expect

Your Complete Guide to Seasonal Snow Removal

Knowing what to expect from your snow removal service is the first step to making the right choice. If you are new to professional snow removal or just wanting to get to know the ins and outs of seasonal service from our company, this article will give you every detail from requesting an estimate to finishing out your first season with us and everything in between.

1. Request a Quote & Sign Up

When requesting a quote for the first time, you can either fill out our online form, give us a call, or send us a text. One of our team members will then reach out to you to let you know when you can expect to receive your estimate (Usually within a few minutes to a couple days).

Once you receive it, you can sign, pay, and sign up for your client portal all in one step which only takes about 1-2 minutes.

*Bonus Step: If you have long term tenants or a property manager, share their contact information with us so that they can be included in service updates for the season.

2. Pre-Service Preparation

Before your service begins, you will receive a welcome email which goes over service details, a link to login to your client portal, and some FAQs.

Our crew will also place snow stakes on your property within a week or two before your contract start date. These stakes indicate where your driveway perimeter is as well as any potential obstacles, and help to prevent damage during regular operation.

3. During the Snow Removal Season

Our customer service team will do their best to keep you up to date on potential storms and route dispatches during your contract period from November 1st to April 15th.

Once we reach 4″ of snow accumulation, we will start on our routes. At this time you will receive text notifications before and after service, and you have the option to view live tracking of your snow removal operator as they move through the route.

We will run our routes on average once every 24 hours during an active storm.

You are always welcome to call, text or email our customer service team with any questions, even during a storm.

4. End of the Season & Renewal

Once the season is over, our crew will stop by your property to retrieve our snow stakes. This is also when we typically host our annual social media giveaways, so be sure to follow us to potentially win your snow removal for free!

Contract renewals are sent out around the 1st of August, so keep an eye out in your email around this time and make sure to keep your contact info up to date with our office staff.
